Tints for Overcast Days
The best tint is light yellow with an AR (Anti-reflection) coating. The yellow lens filters out the blue wavelengths of light. The short, blue wavelengths of light are scattered most, so it is desirable to filter the blue wavelengths out. Also psychologically we associate yellow with sunlight and this gives an illusion of increased brightness.
